Creating Tablescapes

This beauty from a few weeks back with your friends and neighbours @thesmallthingsco

Over the last season, we have been building up our vase and vessel collection. This brief was great posturing for us to bust out our new favourites and play.

we are bid vase one mixed vessels down the table. using tablespace especially down like tables creates an intimate dinign experience. rather the repeating a single arrangement this design was a curated collection down the tables.

things to keep in mind when creating a tablescape

  • included different heights, in the vessels and your arrangments

  • use a collection of vessels that complement each other. if the variety is too broad then it can make the table look bitsy

  • limit your pallet of flowers. Likewise to the vessels in there are too many kinds of flower you will lose impact. choose 3-5 kind of flower and using them creatively to make compositions with gesture and depth down the tables.

  • include other elements. for this wedding, we working with the stylish Paula from the small thins co. Paula had created a beautiful selection of candle, tile and tea like that we complemented.

we love working with this style and find it really reflects our aesthetic. hopefully, we will have many more chances to play with our vase collection in the coming seasons!
